We are Roxy and Richard – partners in life and the creative minds behind Astray & Found.
Ideas are rarely in short supply around here. They tend to arrive as fragments of images and stories, often beginning with a quiet “What if…?” and ending somewhere among old houses, windswept landscapes or candlelit rooms.
We met while studying and living in the same apartment. Although creativity had always been part of both our lives, finding each other gave us the confidence to rediscover that side of ourselves - and, for the first time, to pursue it wholeheartedly. Roxy brought an instinct for emotion, visual storytelling and ideas that rarely stop swirling. Richard brought calm and an extraordinary ability to turn even the most ambitious idea into something real. What began as mutual encouragement gradually became a creative world of our own.
Today we are a husband-and-wife photography duo based in Germany, documenting weddings and elopements across Germany, Italy and Europe. But before anything else, we are two people who care deeply about stories and meaningful connections.
Our Philosophy
We arrive with curiosity, empathy and plenty of ideas but without trying to turn your lovestory into something it is not. We listen carefully, offer guidance when it helps and give you the freedom to be fully present with one another.
At the same time, if there is a story you have always wanted to tell or an idea you cannot quite let go of, tell us about it. However unusual or ambitious it may seem, we will explore every possibility and do our very best to bring it to life with you.
We want you to feel comfortable in front of us and confident that the people, emotions and details closest to your heart are being documented with care.
