Long before we began photographing destination weddings, we were already wandering through forests, exploring old towns and searching for forgotten places together. Creating self-portraits along the way taught us to notice how light, landscape and atmosphere can turn a personal memory into something that feels like a scene from a favourite film. More often than not, getting there became an adventure of its own - quite possibly accompanied by muddy shoes.
It also taught us what it feels like to stand in front of the camera. We know the difference between guidance that gives you confidence and posing that makes you feel unlike yourselves. This experience allows us to thoughtfully prepare for your location and offer direction whenever it helps, while leaving you free to become absorbed in the experience itself.
And when the weather changes, the wind catches a veil or the evening becomes far too beautiful to leave, there is no need to hold on to the original plan. Sometimes the moments you never could have planned become the ones your heart will return to most.
