From Our Own Story to Yours
We understand the appeal of doing things a little differently because our own story has often taken the quieter path. We became engaged alone in an abandoned mountain village and later chose a civil ceremony with only the two of us.
Long before we began photographing elopements, we were already wandering through forests, climbing hills and searching for forgotten places where we could bring our own imagined stories to life through self-portraits. These adventures taught us how much a meaningful location can add to a memory and that getting there is often part of the story, muddy shoes included.
Our self-portraits also taught us what it feels like to stand in front of the camera. We know the difference between guidance that gives you confidence and posing that makes you feel unlike yourselves. That experience now shapes the way we accompany your elopement: with thoughtful preparation, direction whenever it helps and enough freedom for the day to remain entirely your own.
