We fell in love with Italy long before we began photographing weddings. Over years of returning each summer, we have created self-portraits and photographed love stories from the hills of Val d’Orcia to the olive groves of Umbria. Somewhere along the way, Italy became part of our own artistic story and a place we hope to call home for a while in the future.
These journeys taught us to understand the changing light and character of its landscapes but also to appreciate the rhythm of life around them like long meals outside, beauty found in the everyday and the feeling that meaningful moments should be given time.
